What is RK (Radial Keratotomy) Refractive Surgery?

This procedure is used to help people with mild to moderate myopia (nearsightedness). RK has been used for many years and is very reliable. During the procedure, tiny spokelike incisions are made in the cornea. When these incisions heal, the center of the cornea flattens.
