Darrell Kohli, M.D.

Dr. Kohli received his M.D. at the University of Wisconsin. Began at the University of Nebraska with 1 year of Internal Medicine. Ophthalmology residency that followed at William/Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI.

Dr. Kohli has been at UPO since finishing residency in 1991. His practice is General Ophthalmology, which includes; Medical Retina, Neuro Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Anterior Segment, Plastics, Normal Eye Exams.

Dr. Kohli’s Family is involved in the medical fields; his daughter is an emergency medicine physician at the Mayo Clinic after finishing residency at the University of Wisconsin. His son is currently in ophthalmology residency. His wife Patty was a pharmacist at OSF hospital. His free time is spent in the outdoors; hunting, fishing and training his dog. 

Jaylene Iverson, O.D

Dr. Iverson joined U.P. Ophthalmology in 2006 and is a board certified Optometrist. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry and is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association. 

She also has training in both pre and post operative care in Lasik and cataract surgery, children’s exams, fitting both soft and bi-focal contact lens. Dr. Iverson specializes in the treatment and management of eye diseases such as; diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Dr. Iverson is a native of Gladstone. Dr. Iverson resides in Escanaba with her husband Pete and 4 children. She enjoys golf, physical fitness, and time spent with family and friends.

Andrea Mott, O.D

Dr. Mott is a board certified Optometrist. She graduated with highest distinction from Michigan College of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Mott fits contact lenses and manages eye diseases including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and more.

Dr. Mott and her husband have four children. She enjoys reading, walking, gardening and kayaking.
